Introduction to Instagram and TikTok for everyone (Online)

Do you know how hashtags work? Or how to post a image vs Reel? What is TikTok all about? What settings do I need to turn on to keep me and my children secure?

I am here to answer some of these questions for you as I show you around Instagram and TikTok and share with you some of the important terminology and tools in these platforms, so you can feel a little more comfortanle talking about them with your children, peers and business! 

This workshop is for you if you have been using these platforms (or not) but are feeling a little left behind and want to stay updated with all the lingo, features and tools on the apps. But more importantly, understand how your children might be using it too. I will explain the main different tools on Instagram so you’ll understand the difference between Stories, Posts, Reels and Lives, look at the important settings you might want to turn on and explain how tags such as hashtags actually work. Jumping onto TikTok, I will offer an introduction to how it works differently to Instagram and how content is created and shared.

Instagram will be the main focus for this workshop as it is also a really useful business tool, so this is a great taster for those of you thinking about launching a businesses or marketing your services.
